MTV Europe's newest channel -- MTV Adria-- will serve Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia & Montenegro and Macedonia offering a platform for regional musicians and other artists.

Young VJs and presenters from the region will broadcast the programmes in different languages.

The aim is to create a unique mix of international and local music material which will supplement the content of MTV Europe and USA.

In the beginning, MTV Adria's programme, which will replace the popular MTV Europe channel, will broadcast more international shows like Jackass, Dismissed, Pimp My Ride and Punk'd and in the next phase MTV Adria will increase its own production of local content.
