HOUSE SOUND OF SKOPJE
Somewhere in April 98', came the idea for starting something that we do best...spinning
house music......Each one of us was into house music for almost 5 years and more, but
never had a chance to express himself the way it suppose to be, because we were working at
clubs where the music that was suppose to be played was to much commercial...that is the
strongest thing that led us to form this association .....Our first official party with
flyer, was on May 1st, daylight party that started from 1pm and ended around 6pm....we
were supported by the owner of club-MNT, with sound system and we had approval from the
city administration who were very open-minded about our idea for party during the day, in
the middle of the city park, with one message:"HOUSE MUSIC"-can be consumed without drugs, music by it self gets you
high.......
After that party which went very good,
there were couple more before the summer holidays
started .......during that time my friend Igor, a great artist, made our logo which we
still and will use
on our party flyer........After summer ended we started again, we organized around 6
parties in different clubs around the city, and we were spotted by very open-minded radio
and club DJ,
Zoran Ristevski, who offered himself to help us around marketing our parties on his radio
show....we were guest couple of times on his radio show "Radio friendly"-A1
Radio and "Mastermix", where we spinned house music live from the
studio.......the last four parties we made took place in a very new and beautiful club
called SACHMO, where we got the whole support from the club owner Igor....the first three
parties were on Sunday nights, but the last one was on Thursday nite and was the biggest
and by far the best party we have organized........the rest is yet to
come...........soon........
