"Miranda" is 24 year old Miranda Silvergren, based in Gothenburg, Sweden, the world's only female solo trance producer. Her music is unique, deep night-time psychedelia and trippy, melodic morning trance. She first started "playing around" with synths when just 13 and her full on commitment over the past 10 years has resulted in her becoming one of the finest producers  around in the scene today.        

 

Miranda became known to us in the summer of 1995 with her first release on Matsuri productions under the name "Athena". Following the success of tracks such as "Timeless Worlds Of Space" and "Steps to The Stars" on Koyote Records her popularity has spiralled ever upwards. Miranda never fails to keep coming up with new ideas and her music is continually progressing. Her sound is admired and played by all top underground DJ's accross the globe and she is in constant demand to make live appearances - no set is complete without "Miranda". 

        Miranda has co-produced with the likes of Tsuyoshi Suzuki (Prana) - Jean Borelli (Sheyba) and Dara-Lee and Marcello of Encens, the latter co-producing this Summers' killer anthem - "Ominus - Acid Tester". 

        In her countless missions around the globe, Miranda has played alongside such infamous acts as "Astral Projection" - "Chakra & Edi Mis" - "Elysium" and "Indoor". After her successful UK  appearance in November and the launch of her debut album "Phenomena", Miranda looks set to be in psychedelic bliss the whole of next year and beyond...
