DEEPBLUEMUSIC TOUR 2001
may / june / july 2001

PROPOSAL FOR PROMOTERS

This spring deepbluemusic will once again be going on tour - taking the sound of deepblue to clubs and events all over the world.  We will not be 'transforming the venue' or even putting up a banner - this one's all about the music.... deepblue are true champions of the London underground party scene, putting on hundreds of events and parties over the last six years at a huge variety of venues all over the capital and  beyond. As well as a unique atmosphere, deepblue parties feature a unique sound - loosely based on deep house but featuring strong influences of dub, disco, techno, Latin and jazz - and this sound proved itself to be universally popular on the last European tour.

The deepbluemusic 2000 tour took place in April, May and June last year, and featured over  40 dates in ten countries: England, Ireland, France, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria and Macedonia.
 
The tour resident was Zak Frost, and the other DJs were made up of a selection of the other deep blue residents and regular guests. Highlights included The Pod in Dublin with The Idjut Boys, Zak Frost at the Geneva Music Festival, Simon "Faze Action" Lee in the mountains of Austria, the London date in the main room of Mass in Brixton, and many other gigs at some of the world's finest clubs. The reception was fantastic everywhere - and we aim to make this tour even more extensive than the last.

Once again the 2001 tour will feature Zak Frost as the tour resident. Zak has been the main resident of deepblue since the start, and is a resident / regular guest at many other clubs and festivals all over Europe.  For dates when more than one DJ is required, the rest of the lineup can be made from a selection of the deep blue residents: Thomas Madvig, Nima, John Askew and Adam Dewhurst; or our favourite regular guests: Glen Gunner, Simon "Faze Action" Lee, The Idjut Boys and Ramon Santana.  All DJs are of course subject to availability. We are flexible enough to work with almost any budget.
